1. To the chief Musician, according to the Sheminith, A Psalm of David.
2. Help Lord, for the pious man ceases; for the faithful vanish from among the children of men.
3. They speak vanity every one with his neighbor; with flattering lips and with a double heart they speak.
4. The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks arrogant things;
5. Who have said, With our tongue we will prevail; our lips are our own; who is lord over us?
6. For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, said the Lord; I will set him in safety at whom they hiss.
7. The words of the Lord are pure words; like silver refined in a furnace upon the ground, purified seven times.
8. You shall keep them, O Lord, you shall preserve them from this generation forever.
9. The wicked walk on every side, when vileness is exalted among the son of men.

א לַֽמְנַצֵּחַ עַל־הַשְּׁמִינִית מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִֽד
 ב הוֹשִׁיעָה יְהֹוָה כִּי־גָמַר חָסִיד כִּי־פַסּוּ אֱמוּנִים :מִבְּנֵי אָדָֽם
 ג שָׁוְא | יְֽדַבְּרוּ אִישׁ אֶת־רֵעֵהוּ שְׂפַת חֲלָקוֹת :בְּלֵב וָלֵב יְדַבֵּֽרוּ
 ד יַכְרֵת יְהֹוָה כָּל־שִׂפְתֵי חֲלָקוֹת לָשׁוֹן מְדַבֶּרֶת :גְּדֹלֽוֹת
 ה אֲשֶׁר אָֽמְרוּ | לִלְשֹׁנֵנוּ נַגְבִּיר שְׂפָתֵינוּ אִתָּנוּ :מִי אָדוֹן לָֽנוּ
 ו מִשֹּׁד עֲנִיִּים מֵאַנְקַת אֶבְיוֹנִים עַתָּה אָקוּם :יֹאמַר יְהֹוָה אָשִׁית בְּיֵשַׁע יָפִיחַֽ לֽוֹ
 ז אִֽמֲרוֹת יְהֹוָה אֲמָרוֹת טְהֹרוֹת כֶּסֶף צָרוּף :בַּֽעֲלִיל לָאָרֶץ מְזֻקָּק שִׁבְעָתָֽיִם
 ח אַתָּה יְהֹוָה תִּשְׁמְרֵם תִּצְּרֶנּוּ | מִן־הַדּוֹר זוּ :לְעוֹלָֽם
: ט סָבִיב רְשָׁעִים יִתְהַלָּכוּן כְּרֻם זֻלֻּת לִבְנֵי אָדָֽם
