Psalm and Song at the dedication of the house; of
David.
- I
will extol you, O Lord; for you have lifted me up,
and have not made my enemies rejoice over me.
- O
Lord my God, I cried to you, and you have healed
me.
- O
Lord, you have brought up my soul from Sheol; you
have kept me alive, that I should not go down to
the pit.
- Sing
to the Lord, O you his pious ones, and give thanks
to his holy name.
- For
his anger lasts but a moment; in his favor is
life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy
comes in the morning.
- And
in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
- Lord,
by your favor you have made stand as a strong
mountain; you hid your face, and I was frightened.
- I
cried to you, O Lord; and to the Lord I made
supplication.
- What
profit is there in my blood, if I go down to the
pit? Shall the dust praise you? Shall it declare
your truth?
- Hear,
O Lord, and be gracious to me; Lord, be my helper.
- You
have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you
have loosed my sackcloth, and girded me with
gladness;
- To
the end that my glory may sing praise to you, and
not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks
to you forever.

א מִזְמוֹר שִׁיר חֲנֻכַּת הַבַּיִת לְדָוִֽד
ב אֲרוֹמִמְךָ יְהֹוָה כִּי דִלִּיתָנִי וְלֹא־שִׂמַּחְתָּ אֹיְבַי לִֽי:
: ג יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהָי שִׁוַּעְתִּי אֵלֶיךָ
וַתִּרְפָּאֵֽנִי
ד יְֽהוָה הֶֽעֱלִיתָ מִן־שְׁאוֹל נַפְשִׁי חִיִּיתַנִי
:מִיָּֽורְדִי־
[מִיָּֽרְדִי] בֽוֹר
: ה זַמְּרוּ לַיהֹוָה חֲסִידָיו וְהוֹדוּ לְזֵכֶר
קָדְשֽׁוֹ
ו כִּי רֶגַע בְּאַפּוֹ חַיִּים בִּרְצוֹנוֹ בָּעֶרֶב יָלִין בֶּכִי
:וְלַבֹּקֶר
רִנָּֽה
: ז וַֽאֲנִי אָמַרְתִּי בְשַׁלְוִי בַּל־אֶמּוֹט
לְעוֹלָֽם
ח יְֽהוָה בִּֽרְצוֹנְךָ הֶעֱמַדְתָּה לְֽהַֽרְרִי עֹז
:הִסְתַּרְתָּ
פָנֶיךָ הָיִיתִי נִבְהָֽל
: ט אֵלֶיךָ יְהֹוָה אֶקְרָא וְאֶל־אֲדֹנָי
אֶתְחַנָּֽן
י מַה־בֶּצַע בְּדָמִי בְּרִדְתִּי אֶל־שָׁחַת הֲיֽוֹדְךָ עָפָר
:הֲיַגִּיד
אֲמִתֶּֽךָ
: יא שְׁמַע־יְהֹוָה וְחָנֵּנִי יְהֹוָה הֱֽיֵה עֹזֵר
לִֽי
יב הָפַכְתָּ מִסְפְּדִי לְמָחוֹל לִי פִּתַּחְתָּ שַׂקִּי
:וַתְּאַזְּרֵנִי
שִׂמְחָֽה
יג לְמַעַן | יְזַמֶּרְךָ כָבוֹד וְלֹא יִדֹּם יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהַי
