Song and Psalm for the sons of Korah.
- Great
is the Lord, and highly to be praised in the city
of our God. The mountain of his holiness,
-
Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole
earth, is Mount Zion, on the sides of the north,
the city of the great King.
- God
is known in her palaces for a refuge.
- For,
behold, the kings were assembled, they came on
together.
- As
soon as they saw it, they were astounded; they
were frightened; they fled away.
- Fear
took hold of them there, and pain, like a woman in
labor.
- You
break the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.
- As we
have heard, so have we seen in the city of the
Lord of hosts, in the city of our God; God will
establish it for ever. Selah.
- We
have thought of your loving kindness, O God, in
the midst of your temple.
- According
to your name, O God, so is your praise to the ends
of the earth; your right hand is full of
righteousness.
- Let
Mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be
glad, because of your judgments.
- Walk
about Zion, and go around her; count her towers.
- Mark
well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that you
may tell it to the following generation,
- That
this is God, our God for ever and ever; he will be
our guide till death.

ג יְפֵה נוֹף מְשׂוֹשׂ כָּל־הָאָרֶץ הַר־צִיּוֹן יַרְכְּתֵי

קִרְיַת מֶלֶךְ רָֽב
: ד אֱלֹהִים בְּאַרְמְנוֹתֶיהָ נוֹדַע לְמִשְׂגָּֽב
: ה כִּֽי־הִנֵּה הַמְּלָכִים נֽוֹעֲדוּ עָבְרוּ
יַחְדָּֽו
: ו הֵמָּה רָאוּ כֵּן תָּמָהוּ נִבְֽהֲלוּ נֶחְפָּֽזוּ
: ז רְעָדָה אֲחָזָתַם שָׁם חִיל כַּיּוֹלֵֽדָה
: ח בְּרוּחַ קָדִים תְּשַׁבֵּר אֳנִיּוֹת תַּרְשִֽׁישׁ
ט כַּֽאֲשֶׁר שָׁמַעְנוּ | כֵּן רָאִינוּ בְּעִיר יְהֹוָה צְבָאוֹת בְּעִיר

מָלְאָה יְמִינֶֽךָ

יד שִׁיתוּ לִבְּכֶם | לְֽחֵילָה פַּסְּגוּ אַרְמְנוֹתֶיהָ לְמַעַן

לְדוֹר אַֽחֲרֽוֹן
